Are you a photographer or videographer ready to shoot some of Berlin’s best festivals this summer?

Want to shoot festivals this summer?
Join the CODA collective

We’re bringing a crew of photographers and videographers, both experienced and just starting out, to three Berlin festivals. Sign up if you’ve got the eye and the energy.

Berlin festivals summer 2025

This summer, we’re inviting new creatives to join the CODA Collective with three Berlin-based festivals. It doesn't matter you’re a beginner, this is your chance to grow your work and be part of our crew.

We’re curating the photo and video team for:

  • Brunch Elektronic (26 + 27 july)

  • Keinemusik (23 august)

  • Offdays (29 + 30 august)

What you get when you join CODA collective

The CODA collective is not-for-profit and that’s intentional. We believe access, not algorithms, should shape the future of creative work. Too many talented photographers and videographers are left out because they don’t have the right contacts, gear, or experience. By keeping this collective not-for-profit, we focus on what really matters: creating opportunities, building a real crew, and opening doors for the next wave of talent. Whether you’re just starting or leveling up, we offer mentorship from experienced creators, access to gear you might not have yet, and the chance to shoot real events as part of a supportive team. It’s about learning, experimenting, and showing what you’re capable of together.

Access & Passes

You'll get a full festival pass and photo/video accreditation to shoot across stages and areas, depending on the setup.

Creative Freedom (with direction)

We'll give you a clear brief and moodboard before the event. But we also want your own eye, rhytm and perspective in the mix.

Community & Support

We offer mentorship from experienced creators, access to gear you might not have yet. And the chance to shoot real events as part of a supportive team.

Exposure & Credits

Your work will be credited wherever it's used. On the channels of the festivals and the Coda Channels. We don't post without tagging, ever.

Future Work & Features

Great work doesn’t disappear. It opens doors. Members of our got tapped for paid shoots, exhibitions and collabs.

What's expected

We don’t believe in vague asks. Here’s what we’ll need: â€‹

Time commitment
Roughly 4–6 hours of shooting per day (varies based on your slot or energy). You’ll have space to enjoy the festival too.

Deliverables

A daily selection of unedited selects + final edits within 5 - 10 days.

Paid or portfolio?

This is a portfolio-building opportunity. You’ll get full access, your work credited, and real-world experience. But this is not a paid gig. Some creators may be offered paid follow-ups based on results.

The creative industries are changing.

Artists are being exploited.

We aim to disrupt

We're a community of photographers, videographers, models, graphic designers, MUA's, musicians, actors and athletes. We use our expertise to create a flywheel for each other. By supporting each other with knowledge, equipment and art, we create larger opportunities to generate revenue through our work.

We believe the creative industry is still heavily gatekept where access is often limited to those with the right connections, resources, or privilege. CODA exists to challenge that. We’re building a community where your talent and commitment matter more than your follower count or background. A place where both beginners and professionals can grow, experiment, and be seen.

Our members benefit from accreditation to live events, free photo shoots, discounted studio access, free styling, development and training in multiple disciplines.

Our combined knowledge gives us the perfect positioning to standardize the current industry disruptions. We're currently focusing on the artists led standardization of musician/photographer contracts, and Image rights calculations.
